Retail is an evolving narrative, at For Now we’re helping to (re) write the script. We partner with emerging eCommerce brands to create in-store shopping experiences that bring brands and customers together, in real life, no screen attached. We’re looking for a spirited individual who can speak to our concept and perpetuate the narrative of our brands.

We’re looking for a unicorn, but will settle for a pegasus who:

  • Is able to talk knowledgeably about For Now as a brand and the wider retail landscape.
  • Genuine passion for retail, brands and people is key – it’s at the heart of everything we do.
  • Can quickly develop advanced knowledge of our brands and their products; from their history to their manufacturing practices to their pricing strategy and everything in between.
  • Will ideate (and execute) opportunities to engage customers with For Now and our rotation of brands - creating a convergence of community engagement, brand education, and sales generation.
  • Be accountable for store experience during designated hours; diligently maintain inventory, both on and off the floor (obsessive attention to detail)
    • Accurately process in-store transactions 
    • Process incoming / outgoing inventory
    • Ensure visual merchandising is fresh and appealing
  • Gather and properly record customer feedback and insights for weekly brand reports / make innovative and impactful suggestions that help brands grow.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Store + Incubation Manager, Boston

We’re looking for a special person (or maybe a unicorn of sorts) who is eager to turn retail upside down and reinvent the store experience. At For Now, the only traditional retail rules we play by are our store hours (nights and weekends), other than that, we view the store experience very differently. We believe that stores should be used to build relationships, enhance communities, and help brands grow. As the Store + Incubation Manager you will help us redefine the importance of a storefront and the power it has to fuel the growth of emerging brands.

Your day-to-day: 

  • Understand and effectively communicate the For Now values and each brand’s philosophy to anyone who walks through the door
  • Foster a sense of community that exceeds a positive customer experience 
  • Manage all customer experience related requests (in-store + online) 
  • Optimize back of house capacity
  • Report on weekly and monthly metrics derived from the store, providing qualitative commentary and feedback on ways to improve
  • Ideate and manage in-store events, with a focus on marrying our brands with our community (yes, even during a pandemic!)
  • Ensure the store + windows creatively represent our brands and their stories via visually appealing merchandising efforts  - and change/move/remerchandise based on sales data
  • Hire, train, develop and retain a world-class team of friendly, energetic and knowledgeable in-store staff

Store Lead, Nantucket

We’re looking for a special, island loving, brand lover to take our concept 30 miles out to sea. As the Nantucket Store Lead you will help ensure that our third summer on this special oasis is the best yet. 

Your day-to-day:

  • Ensure the store + windows creatively represent our brands and their stories via visually appealing merchandising efforts
  • Manage schedule and performance of all in-store staff
