It started on the Sound. Long Island Sound, that is. That’s where we grew up, mostly wearing cozy fleece jackets. To the beach. To school. On a boat. While skiing. Fast forward to a chilly 2015 evening out on the water: We reached for our zip-fleece jackets and wished we could up the ante on that warm-up look. It was time to reimagine fleece in an elevated-for-everyday way.
